If you ask the Investment Authority or the Ministry of Agriculture in Kurdistan about the best agricultural project, be sure you will hear the name (Sofy Green House Project), because it is the first integrated agricultural project in Kurdistan region.
Sofy Green House is considered the largest agricultural investment project in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, because it is constructed on an area of 888.000 m2 of agricultural areas.
The project contains 350 greenhouses, which cover a large proportion of agricultural needs and vegetables for the inhabitants of Erbil.
For the first time in Iraq,
the products of this investment are canned and packed according to each product, by means of specialized devices, equipment and machines, and then they are sent to markets and consumers.
